The Location of Butterworth HomeStay

The butterworth is the a town located in North Seberang Perai, the mainland of the Penang State. The town is strategic located in the heart of the Penang and well connected by the North South Highway, Penang Ferry service between Georgetown and Bagan Dalam,  the 13.5 km Penang Bridge connected the Gelugor and Perai.

There are many food street ( Raja Uda, Chai Leng Park, Bagan Luar, Pantai Bersih etc.), shopping mall ( Sunway Carnival, Mega Mall Penang, Mydin etc.), and even a happening night activities in Raja Uda and Juru City is just a distance not more than 10 min when driving.

Features of the Homestay 

Although each homestay unit are different when compare with one another ( please refer to individual house feature ), following are most common have items for each of the house.

• Each room is air-conditioned and installed with ceiling fan for different needs of individual.
• Hot water heater available for  each bathroom at shower area.
• Living room is equipped with Smart TV  and console, sofa set, Dining table and chairs.
• Kitchen is fitted with stove set with gas cylinder ( upon request)for simple cooking, refrigerator, kettle, kitchen wares, storage space.
• Bedroom with comforter for each double or single bed set.
• First Aids Kit & Fire extinguisher
• For unit in condominium, facilities such as swimming pool, BBQ pit and gymnasium room may available subject to the individual unit.

We understand different people may have different needs or ad on services  in some cases, please do request and put a note when booking and we will try to arrange ( subject to availability, time frame provided etc.) and it may have additional charge the special arranged.

Emergency & Safety Procedures

We will provide necessary contact information in case of emergency for our guest when stay in Butterworth Homestay.  Our guest can find out the emergency contact such as Seberang Perai General Hospital and Bagan Specialist and even a nearby Clinic in the town.

For own and house safety, all the doors and window are advised to lock when leave the house to prevent break-in. All electrical appliance , charging station like charger for hand phone, personal mobile vehicle, air-conditioning are advised to close too.  No obstruction of material or bulky items are place on the escape way or back door.

Guest with Children:

For the homestay unit with more than one storey and having a staircase, the guest parent is advised to take care of the young children when using the staircase and refrain any horseplay activities in the staircase area with keep an eye at all time.

Safe use of Gas Stove:

Guest is advised not to leave unattended when use of gas stove for cooking or boiling water. Do not allow children to keep close to the kitchen and close the gas stove after use.
